Part of the former wall with hinterland walls, patrol road and lighting installations..The Berlin Wall Trail traces of the former GDR border which encircled West Berlin. It is one of the most interesting bicycle tours with around 160 kilometers. Construction of the Berlin Wall Trail began in 2002 and was completed in most parts in 2006. The trail leads on the the paved patrol roads used of the border troops of the former GDR.
