Description | Every year, the rainforest’s ‘dry season’ is brought to a violent end by savage storms, which act as an urgent alarm call for species such as tree frogs. These amphibians burst out of hiding in its thousands to mate and spawn in the puddles and pools that swiftly form on the forest floor. Their noise can carry up to 5km through the forest and can reach well over 110 decibels. . |
